Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 25, 2026

These terms explain how refugee and asylum seeker job seekers and employers may use canadarefugeejobs to find opportunities, publish job listings and read our resources. By using the website or purchasing a posting package, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Our service

canadarefugeejobs is an independent platform dedicated to connecting refugee and asylum seeker job seekers with employment opportunities in Canada. We are not an employer, recruitment agency, immigration adviser or government service. We do not guarantee employment, work authorization, application responses or a particular number of candidates.

2. Accounts and responsible use

Employers must provide accurate account information, keep their password confidential and verify their email before purchasing packages or publishing jobs. You are responsible for activity through your account. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Do not use the website to mislead applicants, impersonate another organization, distribute malicious content, send spam, collect information unlawfully or interfere with the service. Do not publish discriminatory, exploitative, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful opportunities.

3. Job listings and applications

Employers are responsible for the accuracy, legality and currency of their listings, including pay, working conditions, qualifications and application instructions. Employers must comply with applicable employment, human rights and privacy requirements.

Job seekers should check an employer and the details of an opportunity before sharing personal information. Applications are submitted on canadarefugeejobs using the job’s Apply form. The applicant’s contact details, message and PDF résumé are made available to the employer in a private workspace. Employers are responsible for using applicant information only for appropriate recruitment purposes, protecting access and handling their downloaded copies in accordance with applicable privacy obligations. Hiring decisions and employment agreements are between the employer and applicant.

Listings marked “Demo listing” are examples, not real vacancies. Applications to those examples are disabled.

4. Packages, credits and listing duration

Current package prices and features are shown on our Job pricing page. Prices are in Canadian dollars. Payments are one-time purchases processed through Stripe when payment services are enabled. A checkout explicitly marked as test mode does not process real payments.

One posting credit funds one new job listing. Unused credits do not expire. Each listing's maximum display period starts when its credit is used to publish, subject to any earlier closing date selected for that listing. Featured and Urgent placement apply according to the purchased package; they do not guarantee views, applications or a hire.

Re-publishing an already funded listing within its original paid display period does not restart the period or use another credit. An expired listing requires a new listing and credit. Changes to package settings apply to new checkout sessions; existing purchases retain their recorded terms.

Contact [email protected] about billing errors, cancellations or refund requests. Requests are reviewed individually, subject to applicable law. Removing a listing or deleting an account does not automatically issue a refund or return a used credit. Any applicable charges must be shown before you confirm payment.

5. Moderation and access

We may review, correct, block, archive or remove content and restrict accounts to address misuse, legal obligations or concerns about a listing. Suspending an employer hides its listings. We may request information needed to resolve a concern. Contact us if you believe an action was taken in error.

6. Content and intellectual property

You retain rights to content you submit and give us permission to store, display and process it to operate the service. Submit only material you have the right to use. Our branding, original website design and original editorial content may not be represented as your own or reused beyond what the law permits without permission.

7. Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep the website useful and available, but listings, external websites and editorial information may contain errors or change. We cannot promise uninterrupted service or verify every statement made by an employer. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by third-party content or hiring decisions. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Updates and questions

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date above identifies this version. Applicable Canadian and provincial laws apply where required; these terms do not remove mandatory consumer protections. For questions, billing concerns or reports about a listing, visit Contact us or email [email protected].
