Automotive Service Centre Manager (NOC 60020) Employer: Great Canadian Oil Change 1204 (Grande Prairie) Location: 8502 Resources Road, Grande Prairie, AB T8V 6S4 (On-site) Wage: $41.35 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time Benefits: Quarterly performance bonus, compensation increase plan, and full health/dental/vision/disability coverage after 3 months Language: English Role Overview Great Canadian Oil Change in Grande Prairie, AB is seeking a driven Automotive Service Centre Manager to lead shop operations, sales performance, team coaching, and inventory management. This role focuses on maintaining high efficiency standards (Superpro Procedures), cultivating team growth, and building loyal customer relationships. Key Responsibilities • Business & Operations Management: Plan, direct, and evaluate store operations, sales metrics, inventory counts, facility cleanliness, and product knowledge; execute projects requested by the Area Manager. • Team Leadership & Development: Hire, coach, and train team members at all levels; set store schedules a month in advance while managing overtime; administer employee discipline and performance tracking. • Sales Leadership & Customer Trust: Lead by example on the sales floor, promote products/services, hold staff accountable for sales targets, and build repeat customer trust. • Safety & Policy Compliance: Strictly enforce company SOPs, safety control policies, employee handbooks, and facility security guidelines. Qualifications & Requirements • Experience: Minimum 3 years of related retail or wholesale sales experience with increasing responsibility (specifically within an automotive service centre). • Operational Skills: Knowledge of facility management, inventory controls, cash handling, scheduling, and workplace safety protocols. • Communication & Soft Skills: Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication in English.
